After a February nap, Flatland reopens its somewhat difficult to find doors for its Fourth event: a three part sonic and visual suite, "Playing the Blues in Space," by Chicago's perennial one human Exploding Inevitable, Sara Condo. Join us Sunday, March 17th at 330pm (still hard to find doors open at 3) for a cosmic jaunt that reflects on space: human, outer, inner, constructed, and non.

Sara Condo is an interdisciplinary artist based in Chicago, Illinois. She uses personal narratives and mythology as a living site for exploration into the complexity of the landscape of socio-economic class, psychology and gender. Her work depicts the meditative moments present in our everyday lives that illuminate truths of the human condition. Condo uses an experimental media based practice to explore unwritten histories within our present society. In addition to a traditional studio practice, Condo is a musician and traveler.
